Wagner winery & brewery are open daily year round for tastings, tours and retail sales. We also have a gift shop with an impressive collection of wine & beer accessories, clothing, logo items and a bountiful selection of unique gifts. The Ginny Lee restaurant serves lunch daily from May through October. Please check the Hours page for the restaurant, or phone 607-582-6574 for the off-season schedule.
If you are planning your first visit to Wagner’s, we like to let you know that your experience may depend a great deal on when you visit.
Fall: One word – BUSY!! The Finger Lakes region is extremely popular in the fall – from Labor Day through Thanksgiving the season peaks, with weekend visitors flooding the region for wine tastings, foliage viewing and observing harvest activities. If you enjoy crowds and don’t mind possibly having to wait for a tasting, fall weekends are a fine time to visit. Weekdays generally aren’t as crowded as weekends, but can still be pretty hectic on a beautiful autumn day. If you decidedly prefer a more relaxed visit with the opportunity for more personalized attention, we recommend planning your visit during one of the other beautiful Finger Lakes seasons.
Winter: A great time to visit - enjoy the region’s captivating scenery, but at a less hectic pace. Take your time tasting, touring, shopping and visiting with the folks at Wagner’s.
Spring: Also a wonderfully scenic time to visit; the views change daily as the vineyards and hillsides are erupting with fresh green growth after the winter dormancy. Weekends can be busy, but you are unlikely to have to wait for a tasting.
Note: The Seneca Lake Wine Trail plans most of its special events for weekends in the winter & spring, when the volume of tourists has declined. Check the event listing or the Wine Trail website for special event dates & info.
Summer: There is plenty of fun available in the Finger Lakes region during the summer months. All of the area parks, restaurants and seasonal attractions are open this time of year. We host lots of visitors, but rarely at the volume we see in the fall. Summer is a great time for a day trip to Wagner’s – taste, tour, dine & shop all in one stop. We also have live entertainment on the Brewdeck every Friday evening from Memorial Day thru Labor Day weekend – be sure to check the event listing.
